Overview

Hue City is one of places which have many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City. Hue is also an important center of Buddhism. In Hue and its surrounding still exist tens of pagodas constructed more 300 years ago, and a hundred of temples and pagodas built in the early century.


Phong Nha - Ke Bang - World Natural Heritage

“ The fairyland hidden in the limestone mountain protested by the tropical forests, Phong Nha has recently become a famous place thanks to the open-handedness of  the Creator which bestowed this region a system of splendid grottos with the underground river determined as the  longest one in the world.

One Day Tour: Ke Bang Natiopnal Park - Phong Nha Cave

AM: 7:00 Pick you up at your hotel in Hue (or Dong Hoi-Quang Binh railway station or Hanoi - Hue Open bus stop in Dong Hoi-Quang binh) and leave for Phong Nha in Quang Binh Province. Take a boat cruise on the Son River to visit Phong Nha Cave with its grottos (Bi Ky, Cung Dinh, Tien... and Tien Son). Lunch.


PM: Return to Hue on the way stop to visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River on the 17th parallel. Arrive in Hue at about 07:00 PM.

HALF DAY CYCLO CITY TOUR
Our English speaking Guide will come to meet you at the hotel at 8.30 am, to take you to a cyclo tour around Hue city, with the last stop at the Imperial Citadel. Visit the Citadel, including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh). Tour ends at your hotel by noon.

VIETNAM LIFE IN HUE
This tour is designed to showcase more of the royal touch in the life of Hue, such as the garden house. Garden house is a typical and unique characteristic of Hue city. Then visit some traditional trade villages to see the making of incense and Hue Hat (non Hue) - the poetic symbol of young ladies of Hue. Have lunch at Tinh Gia Vien.
After lunch, you will attend a hands-on Cooking Class at this restaurant - prepare a Royal meal of Hue, under the guidance of Mrs. Ton Nu Thi Ha – the “Golden Hands” in the art of Vietnamese Culinary.
The tour also includes a vidit to a market to experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of the local market as well as to purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson. A hearty dinner including the dishes prepared by yourself will be severed right after the lesson.

BACK TO DMZ (DEMILITARIZED ZONE) TOUR

During Vietnam-American War, the Ben Hai River was the demarcation line between North and South Vietnam. There was a Demilitarized Zone of five km each side from the river. However the Southern area of DMZ was one of the bloodiest battlefields. This tour to DMZ will take you back to the war sites, including: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnel, Khe Sanh Combat, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Dong Ha Town, and Rock Pile. Last but not least, you will have a chance to visit Van Kieu ethnic minority to learn about their daily life as well as their customs and habits. Return back to your hotel late in the afternoon. PHONG NHA CAVES, KE BANG NATIONAL PARK AND DMZ TOUR
Phong Nha Caves are the complex of 14 grottoes situated in a region of limestone mountains in Ke Bang National Park. Phong Nha Cave has total length of 7,729 m and was listed as a World Natural Heritage Site in July, 2003 by UNESCO. The Cham People have used Phong Nha Cave as a Buddhist sanctuary in the 9 and 10 centuries. Visit the cave, you will have a chance to explore the remains of Cham altars and inscriptions inside the cave.

Day 1: Hue - Ke Bang National Park - Phong Nha Caves - Dong Hoi (L, D)
Visit Vinh Moc underground tunnel, one of the most famous battle-field in Vietnam War, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, a symbol of the war, the wound of the nation. Have lunch at Dong Hoi Town, then continue to Phong Nha – Ke Bang. Get on a boat, go up the river Son to Phong Nha Cave. Stay on boat for 700m, then you can walk to see 500m deeper in the cave. Explore the remains of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside. Overnight in Dong Hoi Town (Sun Spa Resort)

Day 2: Dong Hoi - DMZ - Hue (B, L)
Visit the historical sites of Khe Sanh Combat, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Dong Ha Town, and Rock Pile. Return to Hue in the afternoon via Quang Tri Citadel. End of tour.
