Overview

Ha Noi city divided into districts, many of which take their name from a lake within the district's boundaries. Each district has its own charms.Perhaps the most interesting district, is that of Hoan Kiem. At its center is Ho Hoan Kiem (Lake of the Restored Sword). A broad path encircles the lake, attracting residents to its shores throughout the day. At dawn you'll find young and old walking, jogging, practicing Tai Chi and playing badminton. After dark, young couples walk hand-in-hand or seek privacy under the trees and on the numerous park benches at the water's edge.

8.30AM: Car ride to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and His House, One Pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. 02: CYCLO AND WATER PUPPET SHOW
Starting at 13.30 at your hotel, we first visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) and the Museum of Vietnam History. At 15h30 we take a cyclo ride around the trading area in the Old Quarter for one hour. At 16h30 stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple and learn more about the legend of the Lake. Then enjoy one hour of Water puppet Show at Thang Long Theatre. Following is a dinner with one of Hanoi's specialties at Grill Fish Restaurant (Cha ca Hanoi) or enjoy Vietnamese cuisines at a Vietnamese restaurant. Tour ends at about 19.30 pm.

03: THAY & TAY PHUONG PAGODAS
Our car will pick you up at 8.00am or 1.00pm. We shall enjoy a pleasant drive through countryside villages near Hanoi to visit Thay Pagoda, which presents a beautiful legend about the origin of the water puppet arts. Afterwards we will visit Tay Phuong Pagoda, home to 80 wooden statues of various shape and sizes of Buddist Arhats. Tour ends at your hotel.

04: PERFUME PAGODA TOUR
Depart at 08.00 am for an about 2 hours ride to Perfume Pagoda (80km). Enjoy a 1.30 hours boat trip on Yen stream (Swallow Stream) and visit Trinh Temple before disembarking at Ben Duc (Duc quay). Following is a short trek to Thien Tru Pagoda (the main pagoda). Get up to the mountain peak by electric cable to visit the pagoda inside the Huong Tich Grotto, where people often come to pray for health, luck, ... etc.
We then return to Thien Tru Pagoda area on foot for lunch. After lunch, rowing back to Yen boat quay and we will ride back with a short break at Van Phuc - a Traditional Handicraft Silk Village - for shopping. Arrive in Hanoi at around 17.00.

05: VIET ANCIENT VILLAGE
Leave your hotel in Hanoi at 08.00am and travel west of Hanoi to Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserved are many hundred-year-old houses. Upon arrival, bike along tiny ancient alleys to visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Continue riding around the village to discover the daily life and farming, practice of Vietnamese peasants along the terrace with a stop in two ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house dates back to 400 years ago.
After lunch, visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, dedicated to two national heroes. Again biking to Mia Pagoda, built in 15th century. Drive back to Hanoi and reach your hotel around 4.30 pm.

02: HOA LU - TAM COC - BICH DONG 1 DAY TOUR
Depart at 8:00am from your hotel in Hanoi. After 2hrs drive we arrive in Ninh Binh Province. Our first visit is the former capital Hoa Lu where remaining Dinh and Le King's temples.
Proceed to Tam Coc tourist center for lunch at local restaurant. Getting on small rowing boats to travel along the canals amid local villages, green fields and natural beauty with limestone peaks, we are enjoying the Ha Long On Land. After 02 hours through 03 caves, we row back to the boat quay.
Take a short bike to Bich Dong cave, which was conferred by a King the title Vietnam's second most beautiful grotto and which is some 2 km from Tam Coc. Climb up the Ngu Hanh Son Mountain (Buddha's palm), charmed by the marvelous scenery offered by the mountains, rivers and pagodas.. Return to Ha Noi and arrive at around 17:30pm.

03: TRANG AN GROTTOES & BICH DONG 1 DAY TOUR

Early picked up at 07:30am at your hotel, you arrive Trang An nature reserve center in Ninh Binh province after 02 hours drive. Start our journey with nearly 03-hour cruising along stream through 5 main grottos with beautiful stalactites (from 70 to 320 metres length). Rowing from long dark-inside cave to green picturesque cannels, you are closest to nature. Back to boat quay then proceed to Tam Coc Tourist Centre for lunch at local restaurant.

01: CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK -KENH GA - HOA LU 2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

Day 1: Ha Noi - Cuc Phuong (L/D)
Depart at 7.30 a.m from your hotel to ride directly to Cuc Phuong National Park. First, we visit the Endangered Primates Rescue Center. Have lunch at Cuc Phuong Guest house and check in.
In the afternoon, visit the flora, fauna and one-thousand-year-old sequoia tree, and the cave of Prehistoric man in Cuc Phuong National Park. Dinner and overnight at Cuc Phuong National Park.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong - Kenh Ga- Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast, we leave the Cuc Phuong to visit Kenh Ga. Enjoy a boat trip along Hoang Long River to contemplate the beauty of the natural landscape and then visit Hot Spring, Van Trinh Cave. Have lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch we take a short drive to Hoa Lu - an ancient capital of Vietnam - and the remaining two temples of Dinh King and Le King, and then drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at about 17.00pm
